On behalf of himself, the members of the Iraq Gymnastics Federation, and the entire gymnastics community in Iraq, Eng. Walid Al-Saedi, President of the Iraq Gymnastics Federation, extends his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Aqeel Muftan, President of the National Olympic Committee of Iraq, and all members of the Executive Board on Iraq’s remarkable achievement of winning 14 medals at the Asian Youth Olympics, which concluded yesterday (Friday), marking a strong return to the podium after a long absence.
This accomplishment reflects the determination and high spirit of our young athletes and stands as clear evidence of the success of the joint efforts and the effective institutional collaboration supporting the Iraqi sports movement.
We wish continued success to all and look forward to more achievements that will raise Iraq’s flag high in international arenas.
