The Executive Board of the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation held its regular meeting in Baghdad, headed by Eng. Walid Al-Saedi, President of the Federation. The attendees included Professors Raed Qasim, Ahmed Naeem, Nazir Danif, Haider Mohsen, Ms. Faraed, Financial Secretary Saleh Mahdi, and Secretary Mohammed Mahmoud. The meeting was also attended by Professor Nabil Yassin.
During the meeting, the Executive Board of the Federation discussed several matters, the most important of which were:
- Holding the Iraqi Women’s Clubs Championship in Sulaymaniyah.
- Holding an external training camp.
- The latest developments and correspondence with the International Gymnastics Federation.
- Forming several committees:
- Committee for preparing the training center in Rusafa.
- Committee for preparing the training center in Karkh.
- Committee for visiting the sub-federations in the south.
- Committee for approving the files of the pioneers.
After that, the Executive Board met with the international expert Karen, who is in Baghdad, and expressed its welcome to him. It also met with the players and coaches of the national teams and learned about the obstacles and challenges they face, and stressed the need to solve these challenges.
