The president of the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation, Engineer Walid Al-Assadi, on behalf of the family of the union, blessed the elections of the Executive Office of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee, and elected its president Dr. Aqeel Muften.
Al-Assadi said: “I congratulate brother Dr. Aqeel Muften on being elected Chairman of the Olympic Committee’s Executive Office for the next four years, and to all the members of the winning executive office, in service to the Olympic sports movement.” “
He added: “We are delighted that the General Assembly of the Olympic Committee has contributed, and in high democracy, to the success of this electoral wedding. We in our union look forward to working together with the National Olympic Committee to promote and develop sport, especially gymnastics in Iraq. “
