The Iraqi Gymnastics Federation is making steady strides towards developing the game in cooperation with the concerned authorities

Journalist Falah Al-Nasser published in the “Al-Sabah Al-Jadeed” newspaper a press interview with Engineer Walid Al-Saadi, President of the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation, where he highlighted the great efforts made by the Federation to redevelop the game and enhance its presence locally and internationally.

Al-Saadi confirmed during the meeting that the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation has made advanced strides in the process of advancing the game, stressing the importance of partnerships with the Ministries of Youth and Sports and Education and the Iraqi National Olympic Committee to provide an ideal environment for athletes and develop infrastructure. He added that the Federation seeks to enhance the skills of male and female players by organizing local and international tournaments and specialized training programs.

He pointed out that the support of the concerned authorities and national competencies played a prominent role in achieving qualitative leaps in the field of gymnastics, indicating that the Federation is working to prepare a promising generation of athletes capable of competing in regional and international forums.

At the end of his speech, Al-Saadi expressed his optimism about the future of the game, stressing that the Federation is committed to clear plans to achieve more accomplishments and raise the name of Iraq high in the world of gymnastics.
