Engineer Walid Al-Saadi, President of the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation, received veteran professor Junaid Bashir, who served as President of the Iraqi Gymnastics Federation from 1988 to 1990, and who is considered one of the most prominent symbols of gymnastics in Iraq. The meeting was also attended by Professor Rahim Al-Fatlawi, former international wrestler, Ms. Farid Abdul Abbas, a member of the Federation, Professor Nabil Yassin and expert Professor Adnan Al-Jaberi.
Bashir expressed his optimism about the new stage, noting that it represents a positive start in leading the sport of gymnastics after the difficult periods it has gone through.
