The President of the Asian Gymnastics Union (AGU), Mr. Ali Al-Shathri, extended his congratulations to the newly elected Executive Committee of the Iraq Gymnastics Federation on the occasion of its election. The message came during a phone call he made with the President of the Iraq Gymnastics Federation, Eng. Walid Al-Saedi.
During the call, Mr. Al-Shathri emphasized that the AGU looks forward to seeing Iraq return to the podiums and play an active role in both international and Asian competitions. He affirmed that the Asian Gymnastics Union will provide full support to the Iraq Gymnastics Federation in the coming stage to help develop the sport and enhance the skills of its athletes and staff.
For their part, the Executive Committee of the Iraq Gymnastics Federation expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Ali Al-Shathri for his kind congratulations and continued support. They commended the Asian Gymnastics Union’s ongoing cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening joint efforts for the advancement of gymnastics in Iraq.
